ESR 14 @ Anthogyr SAS, France

Yohan Douest is a young engineer specialized in Materials Science who graduated from the Engineering School of the Université Grenoble Alpes (France). Before BIOREMIA, he attended a double Master’s programme where he had the chance to experience both academic and industrial research.

In 2020 he obtained his Master’s degree in Applied Physics at the University of Tsukuba (Japan). His Master’s work focused on the development of plasma etching on promising wide band gap semiconductors for power devices and optoelectronic applications. Before BIOREMIA, Yohan completed a 6-month internship in Neuchâtel (Switzerland) as a process engineer in the R&D department of Richemont SA, working on the optimization of a micro-manufacturing process for watch components.

Yohan has joined the BIOREMIA Network as an Early-Stage Researcher at Anthogyr SA (Sallanches, France), and will pursue a doctoral degree from INSA-MATEIS Lyon. His project involves the design of the Ti-based metallic glasses for the production of minimally invasive dental implants.

Here you can listen Yohan speaking about his PhD research work in his mother tongue (French).
