Applicants can be of any nationality, but in order to be eligible for the Early Stage Research (ESR) positions the following specific Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions eligibility criteria apply:
- Researchers are required to undertake trans-national mobility (i.e. move from one country to another) during this position.
- Applicants cannot apply for an ESR position hosted in a country where they have resided, worked, or studied for more than 12 months in the 3 years immediately prior to the start of recruitment.
- The applicants must be in the first four years of their research careers and not yet have been awarded a doctoral degree. The four years start to count from the date when a researcher obtained the degree (e.g. Master’s degree) which would formally entitle him/her to embark on a doctorate.
- Excellent knowledge of written and spoken English language is required.
All applications will be checked according to the eligibility criteria.
Only eligible applications will be processed to the next phase.
Additionally, there are further admission requirements for each beneficiary. Please check every ESR position individually for more information about specific requirements and deadlines. For more details, please do not hesitate to contact the supervisor for each ESR project directly.
