BIOREMIA invites applications for 15 Early Stage Researcher (ESR) positions. The expected starting date is April – August 2020 and the positions will be funded for three years.
To apply go to the preferred ESR position / project and follow the instructions provided for the selected ESR vacancy.
You can also apply online via our application form by uploading your application material. Please check the eligibility criteria in the first place.
Please submit your application with the required documents in English and quote the project name and ESR position "BIOREMIA - ESR X”.
- Motivation letter (describing research career goals, skills, and experience)
- Curriculum Vitae
- Copies of Bachelor and Master certificates / diploma
- Reference letters
- Publications (if available).
Please select well the most appropriate position for which you would like to apply and do not send your application to more than 2 positions (indicate the order of preference, which will be considered in case of hiring).
In your Motivation Letter indicate if you are interested in being considered for any of the other PhD positions in our network (and if you give us permission to share your application with the host/supervisor of that project). In this way we can ensure a more efficient handling of your application.
If you have any questions regarding the BIOREMIA project or the application process, please do not hesitate to contact us.
After we receive all of the applications which have been submitted before the deadline, applicants for each ESR position will be evaluated by a Selection Committee of the host institution consisting of at least three members, one of which will be the supervisor.
The Committee will shortlist applicants and conduct interviews in person or via video conference. Successful applicants will need to prove that they are eligible in respect of the ESR definition (i.e. less than 4 years' research experience), mobility criteria, any English language proficiency, and any project specific requirements.
BIOREMIA recruitment and employment strategy is based on an equal opportunities policy and in full compliance with the principle of the Code of Conduct for the Recruitment of Researchers. We value diversity, and do not discriminate based on gender, religion, marital status, age, or cultural background.
BIOREMIA seeks to increase the number of women in those scientific areas where they are underrepresented and therefore explicitly encourages women to apply.
Data collected from the candidates will be used for recruitment purposes only and will not be shared outside BIOREMIA unless authorised by the applicant.
